As a new Warrior of Light, Final Fantasy 14, what do you have to do when starting the game?
In the early stages, we recommend beginners focus on collecting the Main Quest, main story and Job Quest, if it reaches a dead end or can’t go on because the level hasn’t reached yet, you may stop by to do Side Quests or FATEs on the map at different levels.
As for the weapons or the early gear, there is no need to focus much. And there is no need to buy it at a local store or Market Board because we can get it for free as a quest reward item. (but you may have to come to terms with the ugly design of the early game set)
Main Quest
MMORPG games with story quests belong together, it also gives a big experience and prizes that we can choose to receive as items or gold coins for sale and exchange money as well.
Tips: If you don’t know where to take the main quest, it can be viewed at the Current Main Scenario Quest option.
Job Quest in Fin al Fantasy 14
It’s a quest that you “Don’t miss it” because we will receive new skills of each jobs to use. It also gives almost as much experience as story quests.
Tips: Job Quest will be unlocked every 3-5 levels, it is recommended to claim it as soon as it is unlocked.
Side Quest
Side quests that will help players gain more experience points, most of them are supplementary stories telling various stories within the game and expanding the FFXIV Universe Story, including unlocking various dungeons. In addition to the main story or unlocking Raid Dungeons, Primal Dungeons, and Relic Weapons quests.
Tips: The side quests have a story that is just as fun as the main quests, and the prizes are equally cool. If you want to play the game to know about it in time with your friends, you shouldn’t miss it!
After reaching level 35, it starts leveling slowly. The item’s level started to take effect, what should I do?
Gear sets will start affecting your character from level 35 up. From level 35-60, you don’t need to change gear every level, it’s ok to change every 5 levels. And still do not recommend buying, just clear the dungeon repeatedly to find extra gear for better result.
Once you reach level 50, you can trade Ironwork Gear from NPC Auriana in Mor Dhona using the Tomestone of Poetic that can be obtained by playing the Daily Duty Roulette until you get Level 60! And this is Missions that we recommend for players from level 50 onwards who don’t know how to level up quickly. You can follow this, we guaranteed the leveling rush!

Tips: Duty Roulette is in the Duty Finder menu. There are 3 recommended modes to be daily cleared in: Main Scenario, Alliance Raids and Leveling. The Tank and Healer classes are the most demanded positions and will not take long to find the party.
FATEs (Full Active Time Events) Final Fantasy 14

Hunting Log
Another way for new players because it is not difficult to do and gain quite a bit of experience. The method is simple. Just defeat the monsters of the required amount. Divided into a total of 5 ranks and each job will have monsters that must be collected differently. Unfortunately, the Hunting Log system is only available until level 50.
Levequests
Similar to FATEs, but a quest that must be received from an NPC instead of waiting for it to spawn on the map. It can be repeated and received to clear in bulk, divided into 3 types; Battlecraft (general Jobs) Tradecraft (Craft-type jobs) and Fieldcraft (Item gathering type jobs). After accepting the quest. go to the green area (You can see it on the map) and then go to the Jounal menu, select the acquired Levequest, press Initiate to start the quest, and return to the NPC after completing the mission.
Tips: in order to complete the quest faster, you can team up helping these missions, but experience can only be received by those who accepted the quest. Recommended to do until level 40 is enough, because after that it won’t be worth it.
Challenge Log
Weekly missions are another easy way to do it and get huge experience points. Just do various missions and complete the requirements, for example; go to Duty Roulette 3 times, participate in FATEs 5 times, defeat 20 monsters with your Chocobo partner, etc. by Challenge Log missions. There will be a reset every week (Tuesday 10:00 PM UTC+7).
That’s all for a simple beginner leveling guide. I hope it will be useful for beginner adventurers. Before stepping up to be the Warrior of Light!
