Candace was updated to Genshin Impact alongside Cyno and patch 3.1. She is a basic attack-focused support character with Elemental Skills that make it easier to survive in battle if pressed at the right time.
Brief introduction of Candace’s character and gameplay.
Her Elemental Skill are normal and a hold type. The normal press will use her shield to knock enemies in front of her to deal damage. Hold press will raise the shield to block enemy attacks instead. When holding the Elemental Skill for a while,the button can be released to use the shield to slam the ground, dealing damage on surrounding enemies.
Elemental Burst will supports allies with the buff that increases basic attack DMG. In addition, characters using swords, greatswords, and polearms will have their normal attacks infused to Hydro Element. And when switching characters, A wave of water will come out to attack surrounding enemies while buffing. Her basic Attack Damage Buff is stronger, based on her Maximum Health.
Recommend weapons
For recommended weapons, there are 3 types: Favonius Lance, Prototype Starglitter and Black Tassel.
Favonius Lance
Support-type polearm that helps to recharge with Elemental Particles when critical hit. It’s the standard one that requires Energy to loop the Elemental Burst and also help support the Energy of the team as well.
Prototype Starglitter
The free-to-play polearm that without the Favonius Lance, can be crafted and equiped for Energy Recharge.
Black Tassel
The 3-star polearm with the highest Health as a secondary stat. Improves teammate buffs. It’s an option for new players. or players without Favonius Lance and Prototype Starglitter
Recommend Artifact
For artifacts, we will focus on HP, Energy Recharge and CRIT Rate in case of using the Favonius Lance. Sand of Eon with Energy Recharge or HP, Goblet with HP and Circlet with Energy Recharge or CRIT Rate if there is not enough Crit when equipping the Favonius Lance.
All recommended artifacts set are 4 Noblesse Oblige and 2 Emblem of Severed Fate + Tenacity of Millelith.
4 Noblesse Oblige
Increases Elemental Burst damage bonus by 20%.
when using Elemental Burst, all team members gain 20% ATK buff for 12 sec.
2 Emblem of Severed Fate + Tenacity of Millelith
Increase Energy Recharge by 20%.
Increases Maximum Health by 20%.
Introducing team members
Recommended team members are Yoimiya and Kamisato Ayato.
Her choice of supporting characters would be her main attack-focused characters like Yoimiya and Kamisato Ayato.
Talents
Her talents was not very necessary, because the strength of her Elemental Burst buff depends solely on Maximum Health. There was no growth based on the talent level. But if friends wanted to increase them, then should focus on the Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill.
Recommend Constellation
The Constellations that are very effective are Constellations Lv. 1 and 6.
Constellation Lv. 1
Increases the duration of the Elemental Burst by 3 seconds.
Constellation Lv. 6
When the character receiving the buff from her Elemental Burst performs a normal attack, A wave of water erupts around her, dealing 15% of her Maximum Health damage to enemies. Water waves from this Constellation occur every 2.3 seconds.
Candace is a very specific character. Since there are quite a few of all normal attack focused characters in the game. Therefore, her team options are few and far between. But in the future, there may be more characters that she supports well.
